How to get rid of acne and skin troubles on your back
Acne and skin problems are unwelcome, especially if you don't know why. Many people suffer from acne on their backs without knowing exactly how acne develops. Today, I will tell you about the causes and solutions of back skin problems.
Diet and stress promote skin problems and acne. However, diet and stress do not always cause acne. If you have a lot of trouble on your back, the following 4 things may be the reason.
1. Irritating ingredients
Shampoo should also play a role in making the hair soft and easy to comb. For this reason, many shampoos contain silicone or so-called propylene glycol, which has the side effect of drying out the skin. When the skin becomes dry, the skin's production of sebum is overstimulated, resulting in clogged pores and skin troubles.
Tip: See if you can find a shampoo that doesn't use irritating ingredients. If you want to continue using the shampoo you are using now, moisturize your back with a cream, etc. after shampooing.
2. The wrong way to shower
Do you know anyone who washes their body first when taking a shower? If you wash your body first and then wash your hair, shampoo residue may remain on your back and irritate your skin. It is also related to point 1.
Tip: Wash your hair first and then wash your body with shower gel. If you wind your hair with your hair bowed forward, you can prevent shampoo residue from remaining on your back.
3. Don't Exfoliate
Many people regularly exfoliate their face, but most neglect other parts of their body, including their back. Dermatologists recommend exfoliating your body once every 3 to 4 weeks to prevent clogging of your pores.
Tip: You can easily make your own exfoliant using salt, Quark and honey. Exfoliants should not be used on acne or irritated skin. Exfoliants should be used to prevent skin breakouts.
4. Tight-fitting clothes
Tight clothing can rub and irritate the skin, and microscopic cuts can allow bacteria to enter the skin. In particular, sportswear should not be too close to the body, as sweat promotes breakouts on damaged skin. Skin friction can also cause allergies to certain laundry detergents, which can lead to skin problems.
Tip: Be sure to shower thoroughly after exercising. Especially the back part is often neglected when showering. Try using a different detergent and see if wearing non-stick clothing doesn't cause any skin problems.
General tips to manage acne
Apply zinc ointment to the affected area 2-3 times a day to prevent inflammation. Zinc ointment can be purchased at the pharmacy.
Sea salt has cleaning and disinfecting functions. You can put it in the bathwater or dissolve it in water and put it in a spray bottle to treat the troubled area directly.
Tea tree oil helps get rid of acne. However, care must be taken not to use the oil undiluted. Otherwise, it can cause too much irritation to the skin.
